You can buy my whole tank if you want :eek1:

If I lived up there, I probably would.

Me to. The tank looks amazing in pictures I can only imagine what it looks like in person

You would not sell your tank! It's not nice to play with people emotions! :furious:

How much? :spin2:

If I got the right offer, I'd sell my tank. I wouldn't mind some freedom. The tank is on cruise control right now, so I am not going to jump to any hasty decisons.

On a side note, I just checked the tank with a flashlight for 45 minutes and there are two chalices that I am even afraid of. The true robokaki and the flying saucer are just ridiculous when it comes to feeder tentacles.

Night time PE is so cool :D

I do have a 2 year old :p Besides, the body only needs 6 hours of sleep to be successful. When everyone else is sleeping, I am making my "magic grow and color" formula for my reef ;)

Then you are lucky. I have a 2 and a 4. They are like bookends when it comes to need for attention. I guess my body is older than yours. It needs as much as I can get.

You would be ordering a new bigger tank within a month:lol:

Mycedium's have the longest most wicked feeders of all the chalice's IME

I'm afraid not Rob, I won't be doing a larger tank until we get a new house so I can do it right

See "bigger" is all ready in your thought process.;)

I hear ya though. I waited until our house was finished being built before I upgraded from a AGA 135 to a custom 200g.

Yeah, it's funny how it all works. I keep thinking about a 96x36x26, but there are no plans anytime soon.

Brian, that is actually Clints red stag that originally came from aquascene. I also have the red robin/red liquorice and they grow in the same pattern and color :o

I forgot about Clints. Red stags are all very nice.

I see that you are using a Snapper for your return. Do you have it turned down? Just looking for a return for my large upgrade and that was one of the pumps I was looking with an airstar begin the other. I have a dart but I think it will be to big and just wasted space. Whats your thoughts?

Also you mention that if you upgrade you would "do it right". If you don't mind me asking what would you do different?

I do have the snapper and it is ball valved back. It does just fine on pushing the whole system and I still like a low flow sump.

As for differently, I don't really know what I would do differently on this system. I would definitely do more research how to fill the bottom of the stand as my tank is on a raised hardwood flooring and the vibration from the external pump produces a slight echo when that you can notice when the TV is off.

The next tank would have a dedicated fish room and I would not need to have everything fit under the stand. That would allow me to have things even more organized and have more access for maintenance and such.

Mark -

If I remember correctly I dropped off JT's chiller at your house! it's my chiller again but who is keeping track.

You live in a nice area Mark! Your tank is on cruse control so relax, keep being an inspiration to everyone in Sacramento and further beyond that.

It's my thought that you are at the correct stage for what you have! I would not sell your system if I were you. You and Tim are the reasons I am back! Looking at your tanks on RC made me want to get my collection back.

Just my two cents, that's all...
