Is that last one the one you got from Atlantis that day?

Yep, and people want to know why aquarists will pay a little bit extra for a captive piece. I don't mind taking a chance once and awhile (kind of like that piece we got from AL), but its only been a couple weeks and here is the difference

pretty much just wondering about KH and if you run w/ low levels of Po4 or nitrates.

Chad

I usually run my tank @ 425-450 Ca, 1350-1400 Mg, 9.5 dkh, 10 NO3, and my PO4 ranges from .05 -.10.

I do not really like the look of bleached out corals and I don't mind having to clean the glass every couple of days in exchange for the fish load I like to carry and the colors I usually can achieve.

I thought I saw hints of that being the same chalice. That is a major color change in a very short time. I figured it'd green out more, not turn blue/teal.

wow, that's a pretty big change. you need to teach me how to look out for these things!

Now I really want to see what you can do with my chalice!

Tank is looking great - seems you have fully rebounded :)

Thanks Mike. Your tank is looking super sweet these days. I still don't know how you guys have the self control to have such open tanks. I am still trying to find a couple more spots in my tank for future trades. :)

Thanks guys, I knew it was not going to hold its original color, but I did not know it would shift in a couple of weeks. I am not too sure if I like how fast it has changed. Oh well, you win some and you lose some.

I was online shopping for new a new lens today and I decided to take the rest of the day off and take some pictures. This is the only one I've processed, but I am sure I will have some more over the next couple of days :p

Beautiful Mark.

I lost nearly my whole horrida colony when i tried to add vodka.

Is that the original watermelon?

And the IceFire is super hairy!!!

Thanks Ryan. Yes, that's the original pink watermelon.

Did you stop dosing after that?

That hairy piece is not the ice fire, it is a piece I picked up as a frag back in Feb '07. It's definitely a cool piece though.

Thanks guys :p

I just got home from Christmas eve with my folks. Here are a couple more.

Oh wow, from the pic it looks like the icefire!

And Yes did stop dosing vodka after that, it was just doing more harm than good.

Merry Christmas to you and your family Mark!
