Nice Anthias Mark.. I love mine and I think Anthias are so pretty and good schooling fish . I have 6 and thinking to get 3 lyretail myself..

Thanks Steve, Anthias are some of my favorite fish. I have the 2 borbonius, 6 lyretails, 2 bartletts, and a leftover dispar.

How are the blotched anthias behaving? I've read mixed reviews on their community orientation.

They are fine for now. I got a couple of the smaller ones. I have also heard that when the larger ones are introduced, it could cause some problems.

I've got a couple new frags lately so I fianally decided to document them'

I don't really post this one much, but over the last couple of months I have noticed that the "grafted" blue is just appearing out of nowhere in the green branches. For so long, people have always believed that when getting a frag of the grafted simplex that you would need to get a frag with both colors, I am not so sure anymore. It has been a painfully slow grower for me though. Its looking pretty good these days so I'm not complaining :D

It's fine; Its been through a couple dips and taken off the original plug, inspected and reglued down. Alot of the chalices that have those "skelatal fingers" look like that after I put them through the ringer. Besides, I am not the most gentle person with my corals. I have learned that most of them can take a lot more that I use to believe they could. :)

I also took these last night real quick before the lights went off

Mark, stunning as always!!! I couldn't help but notice the glow through your window when I picked up the stock tank. Thank you again, by the way! I'm hoping to get it unloaded over the Christmas holiday. You're a life saver. Missed you last night, and you missed Santa (aka Mike D.)

the robokaki looks cool the way it looks like it is melting off the rock.

If I was to buy some ventralis or carberryi how many should I buy? Are ventralis really hard to keep?

Have you listed your water specs somewhere Mark?

Thanks Pete, but those meetings are just a little too much for me.

Chad,

The ventralis' are one fish that I will probably never try just because they have such a poor survial rate in captivity. There are always exceptions to the rules, and even though they are so beautiful, I do not know if I ever would have the gaul to try them. I am not saying that I might not buy them on a whim, but they are one of those fish that probably should stay in the ocean.

Water specs? What would you like to know?
