Looks great man, everything is coming back together very nicely! :D

Your joc is looking nice and fat; I assume he's been decent with your LPS thus far? Any plans on attempting a pair?

Keep up the great reefing!

Thanks Austin, Surprisingly, he does not like any of the favias or chalices so far. I have thought about pairing it up, but I will have to wait a couple months before I serious start looking into it.

WHat problems are you having with the QT?

BTW, that EJMT looks ripe for the fragging ;) As always fish and corals look great man!

Thanks Rob. I guess I was way ahead of you. I actually fragged it last night ;)

The problem I am having with QT is that I want to put these awesome corals in my display  That, and I need to make a decision on if I am going to add any zoanthids back into the display or sale/trade them.

Chris, I am still not sure how I got the eggs in my tank. AEFW will move from one food source to another. There is no proof that they will not lay eggs on any coral on their way to the next food source. I have dipped most of the corals in QT 7-8 times now and most of the corals will never make it back into my display as its pretty full. Yes, this might be a little over board, but I told myself that I would at least do a 10 day QT on lps corals. I also told myself that I would never add a coral unless I had the time to inspect it very closely and examine the contents of the dip.

That's a great practice Mark. Keep it up. I didn't know if you were QTing the LPS for some other reason other than AEFW. Did you ever find out a definite life cycle for the eggs/AEFWs? Is 10 days enough?

I did not find any concrete scientific journal articles, but something may be in the works ;) 10 days is not enough for a complete life cycle. 10 days would be enough for any eggs to hatch though; that is when I can inspect each piece as well. I also remount every piece that comes in so I can inspect the bottom side of the frag. This is a little tricky when it comes to a small chalice frag, but its definitely worth it.

Yes it is LOL:lol:

No I just wanted to see if you had pics of these so I have a goal to shoot for with them.

Do you have a pic of your Ponape Torch?

Chris, I was looking back through my photobucket and found this from May. It looks 10x better now :D

Well that is a good problem to have ;)

Yes Rob, it is very good problem to have. I have a couple pieces to move around this weekend and then I will add some more of "my magical potions". Then all I will have to do is wait, watch, and take more photos :p

Amazing looking tank Mark.. Great photo's too.

Thank You

We have a new fish store in the neighborhood and it was nice to see the direction it was headed. Even though it is still stocking up, I decided to pick up a couple anthias to help support the cause :)

This is a piece I picked up in March of '06. Its finally coloring back up after the treatments. You don't see a whole bunch of teal pieces, but they sure do stand out when they are right

Nice Anthias Mark.. I love mine and I think Anthias are so pretty and good schooling fish . I have 6 and thinking to get 3 lyretail myself..
