everyone is getting a flow star! must get one myself...!

unfortunately my tank is way too small for one :(

For me, I like internal pumps and they weren't really available when I set up the system. By running it internally, it will allow more space under the tank for a proper ATO as I'm tired of refilling it daily.

Cool pump Mark - you will love it.

Thanks Ed, I am looking forward to the pump, but not the reconfiguration and replumbing that I will have to do.

Piece of cake buddy. Have you made the plumbing run yet? Thursday or Friday?

No plumbing run yet. I still need to find a plug for the bulkhead and since the outlet is 3/4", I will also need to get that up to 1" at least. I guess I will be plumbing everything in 1" this time around ;)

3/4" slip or threaded?

I'm going to need a couple Tee's and ball valves now as well. Ill call you tomorrow before I head to the plumbing store.

Yep, Its slip

Hmmm.......well, unfortunately I don't have an adapter that'll work, nor do I have any 3/4" pipe, so those'll have to go on the shopping list.

Plan it out and let me know how many T's you need, I assume you're converting from 3/4" to 1" at the union? I've got a few. I'll be in and out tomorrow, so it'll be tough for me to check while you're out getting the parts.

edit: I see you answered that while I was typing.

I like new toys too :) I like the internal idea also. External plumbing is such a pain to deal with sometimes.

I know you do, that is why I had to get something new to keep up with you ;) You've seen my tank, I am limited in space so its time I get this done before Emmas trip to Disneyland :p

Ah man, another page 40 :( I think I might have to do another photo revisit through photobucket when the new split starts

DO a before/ after pictures Mark.... it's amazing how your tank has taken a turn for the better after the 'incident'
