Is it common for a clown to go after a Peppermint shrimp, grab it with its mouth and feed it to a green anenome, Cause thats what happened 2min after letting my 2 shrimps in my DT. There goes 10bucks!
HAHA! I bought 3 more yesterday but I turned off the lights for about 1hr when I added them to the DT. They all found each other and hid under a rock. This morning I took a peek it the dark and they where all alive being active. As long as they keep hiding during the day they should be ok. Crossing my fingers

I have had a maroon clown for about 10 years in a 75 gallon tank and until today it coexisted with peppermint shrimp - or so I thought. Their numbers dwindled over time but I never saw her display aggression toward them. Today, I saw her viciously attack one, eat half of it - tail first, and feed the rest to her anemone.
