My maroon spends most of the day pacing up and down the side of the tank. Only change to her enviornment has been the BTA that split 3 ways and they're all too small to host right now. Could this be the cause or his she trying to tell me something is wrong? She still looks fine and eats everything in sight.

Get a Sea Swirl. This makes the current sweep from side to side and gives the fish a continual environmental change, same as rearranging the furniture. This is one of the best devices to stop neurotic pacing. I have killer flow, and my fish get a workout from two opposed Sea Swirls---the dartfish that like to hang in place have to work hard and end up moving around much more than dartfish usually do.
