maroon stripe color

Do white stripe maroons eventually turn yellow? I remember reading this somewhere not sure if it is true? Thanks...

Only if it's a GSM.
WSM's will stay white.

Not necessarily a valid assumption. When looking at tank bred, in particular, GSM may stay white for many months. The male usually changes much later.

GSM's stripes are white from the start/very young, and it varies as to how long b4 yellow comes.
I just got one about the size of a dime that had yellow already.
All are male at the begining.
