Thanks Jill.
Capn,
Will post one as soon as I finish the rescaping and replacing some corals...
Thanks,
That shouldn't be difficult as my frag tank is already full.
However it's very difficult to get corals inside UAE especially hard corals as you should have a CITES license...
Just it put in your check in baggage and cover the polythene coral bag in a black garbage bag.No worries.I bought a few SPS last time from BKK this way.
I am flyiing to JKT so will try again to bring some more.
that is something I will look forward too![]()
Need some help with following corals not doing so well while others are doing great:
Hydnopora Very slow STN is in medium light medium low flow should I move it? and to which conditions? should I frag it?
ORA Green slimer. Already lost a staghorn par to f it which simply browned out and was covered with coraline. no RTN STN or white skeleton that showed and now the bas is doing the same:

any help in this one is really appreciated as it's hard to get ORA corals here and also there is not much left to lose.
and my candy cane which I got in worse condition that in this picture and it improved after some weeks of feeding. I did stop spot feeding my corals and it regressed to this: shoudl I spot feed it again or move it to storinger light? it's in medium low light and medium low flow.

Love the pics.
Your scape isn't that bad. I would just suggest cleaning that back glass as well as the waterdrips on the back of the tank as those are taking away from the beauty of the tank.
The number of corals you added lately is impressive and you have some showstoppers there. I'm sure its a waiting game now till they grow a bit and you get that more mature tank look.
Can you please ID that growth you have on the round rock on the right next to the frags in this picture?

How about the move you mention and the upgrade any more precise date and any info on the new tank...?
How about the corals you had in your tank since some time are you seeing signs of growth? any comaprison shots? how about your tank parameters and dosing protocol...?
Thanks again for the very dedicated updates.
what are the slender yellow fish that is not the tang? I'm looking for something yellow.
