Martin Moe Handbook Named Best Science Book of 2010

haha the guy looks like David Letterman..But smarter...Well actually..I think my live rock is smarter than David Letterman..

interesting.

I think my copy of this book is over a decade old. It's good to see Martin getting recognition long overdue.

As an aside, Matt Wittenrich is from upstate NY.

I second what Gary said. At one time discussion boards such as reefcentral were nonexistent the only way to learn was purchasing books or magazine subscribtions.
Most were dated or gave you a 1 page article ,waiting a month for another article.

Moes book and writings were one of the few worth reading, and man how I'd long for the days of Aquarium Frontiers when it was in paperback format.

Worth mentioning is another of his books Breeding the orchid dottyback held to a high standard by many of those that write articles for online magazines. It is good to see he got recognition for his work.Very underated IMO.I have the book you mentioned but not the other but its on my list to own someday.

I have 3 of his books: Marine Aquarium Handbook, Marine Aquarium Reference, and Breeding the Orchid Dottyback. They are definitely on my "favorites list" and are well worn....
