Martinique and St. Lucia recommendations?

Greetings,

In some other threads on RC, I'm breaking down my 120 Gal tank to scrap together honeymoon funds. We're heading to the Caribbean in late-July, St. Lucia for a few nights (2-3), then Martinique for the rest (4-5).

Looking for some diving recommendations. I've been diving for about 10 years, but the fiance has only gone on about a dozen dives.

Hoping for a late hurricane season...

Congrats! I've been to St Lucia, but not to Martinique. The closest island that I've dove is Grenada, which was good for the Caribbean. St Lucia is said to have the better diving, so that might be the better bet for you. That said, Caribbean diving is fairly similar from island to island. In addition, Martinique seems more interesting top side.

Just got back from st. Lucia. We stayed at sandals halcyon. Diving around the pitons was good mostly small stuff but worth the effort. The mountains jump right out of the water so your 5' off shore and its 25' deep. Really cool.
