90 degree. It's hanging about 8-10" off the water. I'm really happy with this fixture. I've seen light fixtures running Cree LED's but the coverage was splotchy. Nothing against Cree. Maybe it would be even better with them. But for the $$ I'm impressed. The pictures do no justice. I can't wait to get it repaired so I can see what it looks like under actinics. I think that driver got fried when it took a dive in the tank I'm happy with the service from Reefbreeders too. Logan has answered numerous emails and is very patient. This is the Photon Nova A4 fixture. It measures 11.25x11.25 made for 24-30" cubes.

the skimmer post made me wonder, What are you using in your sump for biological filtration? Do you have live rock or the bioballs or anything at all yet?


As far as that skimmer goes, could you section off that bio chamber on the sump to make half the bio chamber and half the skimmer chamber? Just make me think lol

I had too many large pieces or dry rock. So I put the two extra pieces in the wet dry.

It was like $30 I think and money well spent they are easy to mount and saves you pulling plugs out of a power strip over and over, just flip the switch. These things should be sold with every starter kit!
