we get rays similar like that by the sunshine skyway bridge...they dont school as big but there's sometimes 40-50 yards of them
and when you are fishing they snag easily and usually break youe line

Yeah I have seen a migration like this down by Sarasota/Englewood area south of the skyway.. they're absolutely gorgeous but you wouldn't want to really be in the water there are too many.

I didn't get stung but had a stinger scrape my leg once when these guys rolled in. A lucky near miss but boy they are just a sight to see
