Mate for C. interrupta

This project is absolutely amazing. Its such an inspiration to see people donating to make this a possibility.

I'll definitely be making a donation. I'll never be allowed to spend that kind of cash on a fish ( wife would make me swim with the fishes) but I can live vicariously thru this project and people who get offspring!

Good luck Karen and thanks again for your dedication!

Here's a quick video here at the wholesalers. Faith is perfect in every way!

More to come!

OK, I've got her drip acclimating to my system right now. She's small. She's about the same size as the smallest one of my Interrupta pair. I would guessitimate definitely under 3 inches.

After she settles in, I'm going to go buy some live brine this afternoon and try to entice her to eat with a treat.

cool, thanks.....
my tiny one, .75 inch, began ingesting whole pe around 1.40 inches...minced pe is good too...a clam on half shell would allow her to graze for a bit...
as you know, it is pretty easy getting them to eat and they like many different foods...lol, right Tactics?

Definitely. You don't have to worry about an Interrupta eating.

pe? Yes, mine are pigs too. I feed my tank frozen food once a day (a cube of Prime Reef and a cube of Spirulina Brine or Mysis) and I have an auto-feeder feeding Spectrum Plus pellets with garlic 3x a day.

Hopefully she'll eat the live brine today. If she does, I'll introduce to her the frozen food and once she's eating that well, I'll try to get her to eat the pellets.

Well she's in my refugium now. Her breathing looked a little heavy, but considering the day she had I think we're doing very well. She wasn't swimming around franticly at all but very calm. She's hiding in the rock work now. I'll try to get a video of her when she's less shy.

So far so good!

this thread is a true testament to karen's ability and her reputation. Im pulling for this to work out flawlessly, as no one deserves it more!
