Mate for C. interrupta

I have not worked with Paracentropyge before so I'm not sure how long it will take. They do seem to be fast in developing. I had been feeding a mix a wild plankton and cultured copepods but the wild plankton I've gotten the past week has been too dirty so it's been mainly cultured copepods.

Try to keep the peppermints untill thy spawn...

Bad news on the P. venusta larval run.
I posted the update on the blog
Be prepared, it's a bummer update:sad2:

Sorry Karen, you did good though and your on the right path. I'm sure the next run will go better, fingers crossed for more eggs!

I too am sorry, but with every setback comes a lesson learned and opportunity for future success. Thank you for all you are doing and I look forward to your inevitable success.

Bummer Karen. Hopefully it gets better the next time around. Eventually, you will succeed! It's in your DNA!

Thanks for the support everyone. I appreciate it.
This can be a frustrating field but I would choose the same path if I had to choose again.:headwally: :)

The lone surviving venusta larva is hanging in there and looks better this afternoon. Since she's trying so hard to make it, I'm going to help her. So the next larval run will start when she settles or dies trying. I may be able to get her into another larval tank and start a new run sooner and I'll see if I can work that through this weekend.
