mated pair now fighting

And my fish have a problem too
I have a mated pair of percs that have laid several clutches of eggs in the past but upon moving them to a new tank the female does nothing but beat up on the male. I thought the problem would resolve after time but it seems like a permanent problem. Could the male have 'gone female' . What's going on?

They probably don't like something the new tank.
If you had them separated for a good while it is possible that the male went female.
