Matt @ Aqualife, He's Back!

I hope he fix things up before he went back to aqualife. It looked very bad at fishplanet when I was there last week. Poor Johnathan spending all the money try to improve the store by him.

Aqualife has some really nifty frag tanks I saw there the other day. They are not online, but Kyle was giving us an idea on what is being planned and I am pretty excited to see them getting into the aquacultured/maricultured arena a bit more than in the past. I am sure Matt will put those to good use. ;)

Matt's a great guy, show him enough respect to give him the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes things don't work out in buisness. I am sure that Matt gave it his best effort. I don't think it is fair to place blame on him unless you know all of the facts. Just because it didn't work out does not mean that Jonathan or Matt is in the worng. I wish them both good luck in the future as they are both good guys.

Yeah, I talked to Matt and it wasnt that it was hard feeling or him and jonathon didnt get along it was a few factors. He got sick of the long commute and also he said Fish planet just was not going to expand the saltwater like he thought it should be that they were mainly sticking with freshwater and that is not where his heart was.

Been there, done that :( The LFS I managed the SW section for cut out all live sales and I became a warehouse guy slinging dog food. My heart wasn't in dog food so I moved on :)

hit fish planet today for the first time in a while. they should give up on salt water. they had a guy to could help turn the place around but obviously didn't give him the resources to make a difference.

zero edge tank looked really nice though.

I've known Matt for quite a while now and he did what he could with what he was given. It started off pretty good getting the things that he needed then it tapered off. So don't blame him. + the commute did bite.

ah yes you must mean dozer. went to school with him, there are now 2 matts there dozer is the one you are refering to i believe. the frag tanks that aqualife is setting up will be very nice. they are trying to compete with yourreefs frag system. just a little fyi.

Hey....Nice to see I'm not the only Aqualife fan around here!!! And I'm glad Matt's back too. Though Kyle has helped me quite a bit!

yeah i used to live right there too by rebounds bar. now i am in fair oaks and i still travel there every week to talk to kyle, when he is not on xbox live

I live over by Stanford Ranch, but go to Aqualife enough to make me Kyle's worst nightmare. LMAO He'll be happy now that I have a bigger tank and spend more than $1.07 on a gallon of SW every Saturday and an occasional $5 on RO/DI.

I plan on getting an RO system in the future. I'm a reefer on a tight budget. Right now I want to get my 46 gal tank up. Then I'll work on getting and RO system. I use tap in my FW tank. I have a 2.5 gal pico that I buy the RO for and occasionally top off my fw tank with it when I'm too lazy to do a water change in the fw tank. So, 5 gal of RO lasts me quite a while. But, once I get the 46 gal up and cycling, I'll be looking into an Ro system for sure.

Hey, gem, I see your in Rocklin. You are more than welcome to grab RO from me. I always keep 50 gallons on hand. Bring your 5 gal buckets and get all you want. I live off of Whitney and Crest. PM me if and when you wanna stop by. I'm always happy to help a fellow MARS member.
