Hey, is it you/r/cameraskills/the lightning, or is the water really milky still?

Making good progress though!

I would say its a mix of my skills and the particulates in the water. It certainly doesn't look that bad in real life. I fired up the skimmer last night and plan to reduce the microns on the filter socks to clear it a little. I expect I will turn the ozone on soon as well which will help.

Cheers stew. I (read the wife) have chosen some cabinetry. We had a fitted bedroom installed recently and the same boys are going to do the fascia for me. I need to do some detailed drawings to give them, no doubt I will post those on here in due course

I have finally got the skimmer working. I was due to call Stewart to go through the recirc pump issues with him however before I called him I wanted to strip the pump down so that i could have a clearer idea of the problem. In an effort to take the pump apart I wrecked it because it was so badly melted!!
I found an DCS 1700 pump on ebay for £200 and just bought it...skimmer is now working!

With the skimmer running I was able to set up the ozone. I also set up the GHL and calibrated all the probes

Hi Matt

Looking very nice mate. I take my eye of your build for a few weeks and its alive :inlove:. Always new it would look awesome.
The scape is coming into it own now, with the corals starting to be placed.
Are those any of the frags from Ush ?
Look forward to your updates and seeing those corals fill out :dance:
