Matt's 5000ltr Display

Some pictures I should have uploaded yesterday...

The plumbing tank side now looks like this, the 40mm pipe for each of the cls comes through the wall before it gets reduced. In the case of the OM the 40mm continues up to the unit.

What's the plan from here, Matt? Are you going to do more set-up and testing, or are you ready to move forward towards full reefery?

Wow, great buid and great documentation along the way. Really looking forward to seeing more. Thank you for sharing all your hard work.

And so it begins.. Tanks a little murky but it's all working. Waiting for temp to rise and I will add 12 buckets of salt

Congrats on the final fill of the tank. The aquascape is looking good.

Let the magic begin!

Thanks guys

Amazing setup. Time, patience and a ton of thought have clearly paid off.

I thought I read somewhere in your thread regarding where you purchased your actuated ball-valves. But, I can't find the post again. Would you please let me know?

Without a single fish, invert or piece of coral, you've managed to create a beautiful system!
I agree with previous posts that your tank will be mind-blowing once it's "live".

Cheers!

W

Thanks for the compliments wijaonka, you're very kind.

Unfortunately there was nothing fancy about my actuated ball valve purchase.
, just good ole' eBay. I had been keeping my eye out for one and stumbled upon a buy it now item. It is a heywood valve with us wiring so I am running it through a suitable converter to use in the uk
