Maui, Hi SCUBA suggestions

Looks like I'll be headed to Maui, Hawaii for a dive trip before too long and I'm looking for people's suggestions on where to dive there.

I have lots of experience on the west side of the island, namely, Kaanapali Beach, so I'm interested to hear if people have other suggestions on where to dive.

Thanks!

I was very impressed with Scuba SHack - all new scubapro equipment included in the price. Dove Molokini crater and a sunken shrimp boat. JM.02

I'm also interested in seeing, if there are some good dive spots. I'm heading out to Honolulu the first week of Dec. and then our place in Maui. I'm familiar with Black Rock and Molokini, but I've heard of a nice hidden spot a little further north. I'll check with my sister to see where it is and post it later. The problem with Black Rock is that it's so heavily traveled that many of the corals are damaged from people. I almost wanted to smack a snorkeler last year after I saw her standing on a beautiful colony of Acro. Anyways, do you guys have any suggestions for dive spots in Honolulu?

I dove Molokini Crater in Sept., and it was great! I also went to Lanai and dove Cathedrals II and Wash Rock. I was happy with all the dives. The dive spots on Lanai are only a 45min boat ride from Lahaina.

+2 on the lanai diving. 45 minutes from the harbor and its great diving. I recommend it. Molokini is the big attraction for most when they go snorkeling/scuba in Maui, but I would take a boat out to Lanai forsure!
