They made it! Everything appears to be in good shape ... well, nothing apparently broken anyway.

We now have the issue of distributing them.

I figure that each of you can send me a PM to arrange for pickup or if you want to assemble them as a group we have a couple of options.

Nanook has offered to have a pizza night at his place on Nov. 28th. at 8:00PM and we can assemble them that night OR Lost Marbles has re-scheduled the SLASH chili and hot wing cookoff at his place. It will be held on Dec. 2nd. and he has offered to let us assemble them there.

If everyone wants to assemble them at Nooks or Lost Marbles place I can bring them all with me to either place.

Something to note is that you will need a Dremel tool to assemble the mod. We will have one available should everyone decide to assemble them as a group.

How does everyone want to handle this?

i would like to assemble as a group. It would be nice so i can have someone assemble mine that has done it before.

They are easy and I will offer help at one of the get togethers. You will also need a drill with a 3/16th bit I believe. I have one left to build and can demo if needed.

let us know

Not yet Lonnie.

You know me .... I'm VERY mechanically challenged!:D

Actually, I need to find my Dremel and then I will. I think I'll put yours together first just so I can learn how to do mine better!

Mike,

Your're just not being nice again!

My challenges are great but none is greater that trying to cope with certain members!:D

I would have had mine done by now but there are no instructions available from mjmods yet. I would prefer to not guess. lol

Jack,

Look at www.reefvideos.com and see if that doesn't give you an idea.

Look at the movies on the right side of the page and click on the picture of the mod

I think the latest mod uses a thrust washer in front of the prop but the video should give you an idea of what you need to do.

I saw it, it is the old attachment way, there is an improved one and we have the parts for it.

doesn't really matter when we meet up. I'll keep you in mind when I head that direction. I'm not putting it in my current tank anyways. Could you imagine a high flow mj mod in a 30 gallon tank?

there is one of these in action at belt's.. wow that thing really puts out! or mabye I should say has good output :)
