This is the one i used, is it the correct one for the high-flow kit or does it even matter what magnet you use.

You could try putting a horizontal baffle on top of the shroud. Start big and trim it down as needed.

The ecomods don't have that....
If you are using the high-flow GSII, you are not going to be able to place that near the surface just because strong suction it has.
