Maxima Clam

Hi guys,

It been awhile I didn't post anything here. Just want to share with you guys my recent bought Maxima Clam. I know that Maxima clam prefer on live rock placement, therefore I place this clam on top of a small piece of flat live rock. I've been looking over the internet for a healthy look maxima clam, but all the picture are different. So I have decided to ask opinion from you guys, Is this clam showing healthy sign?

Looks healthy! Mantle looks intact, and the influent mouth isn't gaping. Both good signs. How does it respond to light/shadow?

happy to hear that. When I swing my hand on top of the clam to block the light, the mantle will close immediately causing my sand blow around the tank. I think it pushing out the water from it mouth. This clam quite big actually, it about 6 to 7 inch.
