It seems my maxima has had it.I looked at it today and it has retreated into its shell.It has pulled itself all the way in.Its always open and doesn't respond to movmenet unless you try to pick it up.It has a hole at the bottom near where it attaches itself to a rock.I think this clam has had it.My crocea that is next to it is fine.Don't know what caused this but I have moved him around the last few days.He looked great untill this morning.I saw my cleaner shrimp trying to pick at him.I don't know weather I should get him out of the tank before he pollutes it.

If your cleaner was picking at it, it means is dead. Sorry for your loss. I would take it out so it doesnt' hurt your water quality.
