he is ravenously hungry ALL the time. eats everything i feed and wants more. he seems to love playing in the blast from the power head...swims toward it and lets it take him backwards. pretty funny to watch! i think he hid for a whole 5 minutes and then he was all over the tank.

short video...you have to watch closely to see him flash. he's quick!!

Hi Neeners. Looking good!

I love the McKoskers! Good luck with keeping yours in the tank. Mine thought that he could fly through the air with the greatest of ease.

i took the lids from plastic butter tubs and cut pieces to fit around and cover the holes where my return jets and overflow box are/is. i think it's pretty secure but eventually, i would like a screen top. i can get you out of a traffic ticket or get your bail reduced but i am just not handy with tools.

i also put little signs up in the tank that say "no carpet surfing allowed". so far, so good. :D

I wish that I lived closer, it takes next to no time to whip together a couple of covers.

marshmallow acres, party of 2, right this way. hehe

jerry, it might take you no time but me...oh, that's another story all together!

beautiful fish, but I dont think it's a McCosker's...I could be wrong, but it looks more like a yellow fin(Paracheilinus flavianalis) the red on the dorsel spikes and yellow anal fin are the give away...I have one. There are a few flashers that look very simular except for subtle color variations...still a beauty good luck with it.....

Correct. P. flavianalis is what I see.

to be fair to mr. ike, the indoor plumbing survived MA '13 AND recently survived the new tank set up, despite his best efforts. bwahaha

morgan, MA (Marshmallow Acres) '14 will be the 7th annual get together. pretty much everybody who has attended, i have met in the lounge. people from all over the country have come, last year fat tony (jason) and laugh (ben) came all the way from new york and ohio. satori (mike) has come from arizona a few times. we have a BLAST!!!!!

lots of illinois folks converge on the farm with chain saws and work boots so there is always an abundance of firewood and oh man, the food we have...i can't WAIT for september!!!

i shall reserve you a tree! :D

always a pleasure. if you look in your review mirror on your way back out the lane, you will see me running frantically after you guys, waving my arms, screaming "don't goooo!!!!!"
