Meanwell LDD driver: for those who want to dim to 0 using Arduino

"No problemo" How many LDD-H do you want on the PcB? From the Meanwell 12V reg- I'll add the typical 3 pin connection for computer cooling fans, and another screw header for powering an Arduino ect..
I could have it ready sometime in the next few days, if that will work for you?

I would say 4 should be good.... and whenever you have time works for me no rush just let me know thanks.

i have not built a single led fixture yet, and i already have two diff sets of ldd boards.
at this rate 02 is re-designing fabs faster than the led manufacturers can create new leds, which is a good thing. there has to be a point when we will be like, that's it, this is the go to board for everything.

now if we can just get a nice led layout and have an aluminum pcb designed, we will be golding. (hint!, ahem, hint!)

also for those interested, i found these heat sinks:

.....designing one seems easy enough but who fabricates them in small affordable batches?

and on that same note can any of the cheap board shops do decent pcbs with flat copper backs and thermal vias that would suit an LED per the Luxeon and cree pcb schematics? mounting them's not to terribly difficult, and I would imagine there are plenty of shops that could do the LED mounting for a reasonable price out there if you send them all the parts........ perhaps time for a new thread on this one?

O2, will you design a board strictly for the SCW05 converter? Say with space for 3 or 4 of them with header pins/screws?

Sure- I'll design a 4 position PcB with screw terminal blocks and 3 pin fan connectors for each one. This way the user will be free to mix and match different voltages on the same PcB and still have an appropriate connectors for each position. This will actually be easier to design from scratch, than adding the voltage convertor to existing LDD-H Pcb designs. LOL

SHAAAAAZAAAAMMM!

One new 4up LDD-H with an SWC (DC/DC convertor) on board. Let me know what you guys think? If everyone's happy with it-I'll post the build files.

BLAMO!

Here's a 4up PcB for the MeanWell SCW (DC/DC Convertor). Each convertor gets it's own 3 pin fan connector (end user- check your fan for proper pin position/ polarity) and a 3.81mm screw header. Let me know if you guys like it, and I'll post the build files.

Come on guys,...you got to give him something a little harder!lol :spin1:

Ho.......Hol........Hold on a minute there. The last two designs were "special requests", and nobody asked for anything more complex than what I came up with.LOL If I were to go back into EAGLE and add a full blown ARDUINO to the mix, would that make you happy? Don't tease me, cuz I'll do it! LoL.:lol2:

I need what everyone els needs 6 ldd's 2 dc to dc converters an arduino mega and don't forget the rtc and tft lcd header and anything I forgot
the ultimate mother board I know I left a lot out but you can fill in the rest

also terminals three for temp probes and terminals for three pwm fans don't forget the resistor for the temp probes and some kind of tranistor array for the fans you may as well tie in one dc to dc converter to the fan circuit

I suggested, you can see not interested ..... :(
