O2 Did you ever post the files for the SCW to LDD board or the 10v to 5v PWM board with the Apex RJ45 on it?
I'll post the build files for the SCWtoLDD-H adapter soon. I'm gonna add a noise filter cap to the output to make it complete.
The 10V analog/ 5V PWM convertor files are already in this thread somewhere, so there's your starting point. I just received a bag of RJ45 & RJ12 connectors today and just finished soldering them in to the new version of the PcB. Both versions need to be tested first, to assure that they work correctly, and then I'll post the build files for them. One version is built specially for the APEX controller and the other is meant for the PROFILUX controller.
I've got my fingers crossed.
I'm looking to build a couple of units for over my 40B frag tanks and I want to try and fit 6 LDD-H, 2 SCW, and the 10v to 5v PWM all on a 100mm X 100mm board. Do you think it can be done? :spin1::eek1::crazy1:
Use both sides of the PcB and you'll have room leftover!
Thanks a ton for all of your hard work. I wish I would have found this thread when it started! Great work! Krazie:jester:
Thanks!
Have you made any changes to the sktech for the 10v to 5v PWM board?
Nope- there's at least 50 convertors out "in the wild" right now & no one has had any complaints about the software's performance.
I haven't looked yet but is the 328 limited to 8bit PWM output?
Yes, but I've seen some pretty novel code that may allow for 10 bit resolution. I'm looking into that as time permits.
Sorry for all the questions. It took me a week at work to read the thread and now I'm ready to build (well maybe when I finish reading your LDD 1500H thread!)
keep an eye on that thread. It's gonna get good after the chips become more widely available again.
