Meanwell LDD driver: for those who want to dim to 0 using Arduino

May have fried my ardurino board?

May have fried my ardurino board?

I am needing some advise. I had a string of leds out and I was unplugging ldd's in and out to see which one was out. I missed the pins on one of the ldd when plugging it back in and was plugged in one pin lower then it should have been. All my lights went out and my monitor screen went blank. I cant get it to come back on other then a quick flash on the monitor then black. What do you think, did I fry the ardurino board?
thanks
Jeff

Probably! If you did what I think you mean, that would have had one of the +ve in pins connected to the +ve in and one connected to the PWM signal from the arduino. That would kill the pin if not the whole arduino, I would expect!

I am trying to get a replacement control board programmed by someone local in our club but was wondering if I cant get it programmed would anyone on this thread be willing to program it for me. I have read through the manual and just cant get my brain wrapped around it. I need instructions for dummies if anyone knows where I can find them that would also be great. Does the programmer still give out passwords from a donation? I bought my original board already programmed.
My new board will light up and the old board will not so I am pretty sure it is fried.
thanks

I am thinking he was using one that got banned from this site
I am trying to load jarduino 1.2 beta with arduino 1.6.11 My computer will not recognize the arduino board. Tried another computer of a club members and it wouldnt work on his either yet his computer works with his arduino board which is already programmed. He has my arduino board now trying to download the program for me. I just get red lights on the board when I plug it into the usb port of my computer. I have ordered another board, real time clock board and touch screen.
thanks

this pcb is still available ?

this pcb is still available ?

Here's my latest design. This one utilizes the ESP8266 WiFi chip instead of the BlueFish Mini. It's got 8 channels instead of 6 and the fan controller has been integrated directly into the main PcB. The PcB measures 100mm X 150mm.

Bare PcB-

Seen this happen b4. Think someone posts and it is deleted by mods. Time stamp remains..
Just a guess though..
One time I just clicked the posters ID of the "new" post ..Didn't exist anymore..Leads me to believe the above..

fan issue

fan issue

I purchased one of this board a while back and life happens. So i am just now starting the build. The issue i have is that the fans go to full when the lights go to 0% (off) but ramp with the lights from 1% on up. I what tried 3 and 4 wire fans. any ideas. I tried to contact O2surplus but my score is not high enough yet>>>:debi:

Hi-
I've attached a folder that contains a pre-compiled fan controller ".hex" file. In order to use it, please download the "Xloader" software found here- http://russemotto.com/xloader/ Use the Xloader .exe file to start the program. Set the board option to Duemilanove/Nano/Atmega328, set the Com port #, and set the path to the "perfected_fan_speed .hex" file. Tap the upload button. If all goes according to plan, the Nano will get re-flashed with new software, and your fans will function properly. Please let me know if you need any further help.

Hey O2, thought you might like this one:

LDD's with your board for Apex dimming.

I think it took me a couple hours to wire this one, all that little wire is a real pain.
