I've had my debelius lobster for over 2 years. I don't see him often, but I haven't lost any fish to him either. Be vigilant and be prepared to move him if neccesary.

LOL! i did it once. saw a purple striped dottyback at the lfs and thought wow, what a gorgeous fish. he was a holy terror in my 29g biocube. when i upgraded, i gave him away.

Way back in the day, the wife and I were at the LFS and she saw a Fuscia (purple) pseudochromis and just had to have it despite my misgivings. Got it home and turned it loose in my 60 cube. As I suspected it would be, it became a bloodthirsty killer in short order. It took me a couple weeks to catch it, and when I did, it went in to my 150 that, at the time, was home to a 4' Undulated Moray. "Killer" made it for several months before disappearing. I did not mourn his loss.

Like Nina said - impulse buys RARELY work out well.

My wife ask every time why we can't have a dora in my 36 gallon lol

My lobster stays hidden all day and hasn't bothered any of my fish at night. He was a hitch hiker and not a purchase though
