Meetings always on Friday Night?

Hi All,

I used to be an active member when we met on Saturday afternoons. I work night shift mon threw fri. Are there ever any meetings, or activities on the weekends any more? I've gotten away from LIRA activities since the meetings changed to Friday's.
I still have the reef bug thou, which I love.

All meetings are on Fridays except in the summer when we do Family Fun Day, BBQ, and collecting.

Thanks Vinny, I was on the collection trip in 2004, and the Family Fun Day at Atlantis 2005. There some of the reasons I miss the group. Maybe I'll get sick 1 Friday a month and take the night off, lol.

When I was working in a store I just always put in for the day off for meetings. It didn't matter the day, as I was always scheduled for Fridays and weekends. The other trick, if your job is accommodating of such things, see if you can switch to the day shift for meeting days.
