Meetings - booked for a year at Market Street Pizza

Meetings are booked for one year. Prior to a meeting, should we not have need of the room, all Micaiah has to do is call. We are booked at Market Street Pizza off of North Market. It's across from Caldwell Park.

We will have the banquet room from 6:30 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. first Friday, monthly, for 2008.

That's pretty awesome! I think it's good to have a set place for the meetings I'm hoping to come up for a meeting whenever I can get a friday night off.

The club is finally looking up. Lots of new members will be coming in the next few months and I think a guy named Craig may come again. It will only get better, day by day. Invite your friends...swing in if it's before 9, even if you can't make it at 6:30...heck, just drop by and say hi. Renee

One thing we're looking for in Chico is a venue where we can hold meetings with a speaker with a projector and screen or at least space for that.

Nonetheless, this is a great step for the club. I would recommend you guys next form some structure with bylaws or constitution maybe from our RC threads or from MARS website (that's what I used for our bylaws), or some others you can find via the RC club forum links to their home pages. That would give credence, authority, and responsibility for officers and club members. Non-binding of course until you go for something like an official business to run the club as a non-profit org.

Place an ad on Craigslist and see what sponsor comes forward to offer you space. Just an idea.

Hi Josh,

The meeting went well, and we had a new member there. His name is Sean. He's very nice. He's got a 35 gallon aquarium.

I, personally, met Mike, Sue, and bill & Lanee.

We discussed the ins and outs of what your brother intends to do in the near future with the club, and about the ID cards and a couple things...I'm sure he can fill you in.

Had a nice time, personally. I find the meetings so far to be very informative.

What day do you usually make it up here?

Our Club meetings are on Friday night. But I am sure we could move it with enough advance notice. We can talk as a club about it this Friday. I have equipment also if you didn't want to haul it.
I know personally I would love to see what you have to offer. I really enjoyed the last demo.
