I have a 120g with dual mega flows. I have a basement sump that is almost directly underneath the display tank. I'll post pics of what I have already plumbed. I need to quiet this thing down alot. I've searched alot on here and found a person that said they use the 3/4" factory drill holes for the full siphon and then uses the 1 1/4" for the emergency overflows. That person ran the return lines over the top of the tank. I'm running a blueline 70 pump slightly restricted, that I would like to run full throttle. The head height is 10 1/2 feet. As a backup measure I'm going to be adding float switches to the controller in case of unwanted restrictions.
My main question is will the pair of 3/4" tubes handle the 1100-1200gph at full siphon. In the home page calculator it said the minimum tube size will be 1.37"
.
