Awesome setups, well done! :D

I checked out your "little red house". That's a beautiful tank Brandon. Very nice rock work!

Wow, thats a beautiful setup you have there. I especially like the rimless tank! I would love to some day go that route.

very nice tanks, are you going all out sps in the future? if so i would recommend separating the green star polyps and xenya/anthellia from the rock structure, they grow like weeds...great job

Finally, the canopy on your display tank: is that homemade? It looks like there's a slant cut on the front edge, which would allow easy access to everything.

I got the canopy and stand used. The canopy was un-finished and was just a standard sit on the top of your tank canopy with no access. I was looking to get better access into the tank without having to mess with the lights, so I came up with the slanted cut. I used a piano hinge to keep the two pieces together and the top opens all the way so I have tons of room for maintenance or what have you. Here's a couple of pictures to illustrate the light configuration and access.

Being a newb  , I learned that the hard way. I have most of the GSP and all of the Anthelia contained. Although I like them, you are absolutely right, them things can take over big time.

very nice Orlando.i enjoyed the progress pictures.everything looks awesome.

so whens the next upgade?going to get a 210g?

Anthelia doesn't need to be attached to a rock to spread, i had some secluded away from everything and a few weeks later i saw two more stalks growing on my main rock structures. Definitely needed some damage control quick before it took over. Beautiful setups by the way! Love the frag tank!

Thanks Mark. When I upgrade in the future (who knows when) I'd like to go with something like a 280ish, 72" X 36" X 24".

I like the look that width give a display, but don't like too high of a tank because it's a PITA to get to the bottom.

Rasta, I'm using a couple of JBJ Vipers on it. I wanted a very clean look with nothing hanging from the ceiling and complete access thoughout the entire top of the tank.

Thanks Eel-byte.

I see you race nitro R/C. I use to about 8 years ago. It was a blast. I moved a few years back and haven't got back into it. My 1/10th scale trucks are sitting in my garage collecting dust. :(

That is just awesome! Now you should have a chronicle of how this has affected your wallet!

LOL.... Lets just say that I hope my son gets some sort of scholarship next year for his own good. :p

Anyone have a suggestion on a good clean looking fan I can put on the shallow tank? I have one of those cheap ones that works fine but I hate how it looks. You can see it between the 2 tanks.
