I think those Caps are ready to be fragged.... I am ready for one :D..
Awsome tank!

LOL, you think?

Yeah, my folks are coming in from out of town today and I was waiting for them before I fragged it. I'll probably start breaking them up next week. Thanks for the compliment too!

A few tank inhabitants:

Wow, what kind of tang is that black one?

Amazing tank, Do you have the sump under the main tank or in the basement. ? Are you using a refugium? Soo many questions..I'd love to pick your brain. I'm planning to start a reef tank within the next year, so I'm researching as thouroughly as possible.

I wish I had a basement. Unfortunately, Florida is not known for basements and I have the tank in a place where I can't have a fishroom so I have everything under the tanks. Gets pretty tight in there.

Both tanks are plumbed together with all of the filtration/ sump under the main display and a 40 breeder under the shallow tank hooked to the ATO running KALK in it.

I run an oversized skimmer, a sock, and GAC and have never had any nitrates or Phos so I haven't needed to run a Fuge. Here are a few pics. Not easy to get good pics though.

Very nice setup, congrats.
Any pics of sump w/ skimmer? Do you have any heat issues?

I run a small Chiller for my total water volume 1/5HP. The rimless tank is plumbed to my main display so that big open area with a fan running on it help cool down the water. Works very nice in keeping the temps down.

Anyways, does anyone have a better idea for a fan than the one I'm using on the shallow tank? Just dosen't look nice and I can't find something that I like.

I'd like a fan that fits and looks like it belongs there.

Suggestion would be welcome.

Very, very nice tanks. I love the frag tank and really appreciate how clean everything looks. No wonder you have no PO problems.

Thanks Ohmsford.

Great looking tanks! Isn't it a problem with keeping the chiller enclosed in the stand? I would think that the heat it blows off would do a good job of heating up your tank.

Mines in my basement, a floor below my display and I think that it heats up my tank.

I keep the doors open during the day and I've positioned it so the chiller sucks air out of the front and blows it out of the back away from the sump. Don't have a basement so that's off the table and I don't want to put it in plain sight being that it's in the living room. My options are some what limited on placement because of this.

Thanks all. The ride has been fun and continues to be.

Anemonebuff, it's a Super Marine which is kind of a double cone design, not the new one that's being distributed by someone else. Not sure if that's the one you were talking about.

It skims great in any case.
