Melanarus with Mystery

Is it possible to have these two co exists in a 80g breeder with a lot of rocks? The melanarus is a solid 4" and the mystery 2".

Pseudocheilinus wrasses do not play well with other wrasse, especially once mature. I wouldn't attempt it.

So the mystery wrasse is gonna be as aggressive as a six line?

yes they can be, but IMO, I think in your case with the Melanarus being that size, he will hold his own and introducing them at the same time or the Melanarus first. Now any wrasse added after the Mystery, anything can happen.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I want to add a mystery wrasse with a well established dusky wrasse in a 90 gallon, good idea or not?

I have both in a 300 gallon. I have a melanarus at least 5" in tank 4 years with a small tusk about 2" for a year then added a mystery about 2". The mystery was lightly pick on for a good week by the tusk and now they are all friends. It's been about 6 months
