91yota - nice fraglet, and I love the black Tahitian sand you used.

Chris - thanks. I can't really comment on growth rates since for years I've just avoided these corals. The ones in my Nano seem to be doing quite well, which is nice. I've only had them since Sept 1, 07.

Seapug - that doesn't surprise me at all. They don't need hammering flow that our reefs typically have. And several are non-photo synthetic, which means light won't do a thing for them. Food is always good though, if you can avoid polluting the water with excess.

Yep, in the future I plan to add a few cute maximas. I just have to find the colors I like at the same time I have money to spend. No problem.

mark,

quck question about your spa flex lines... are you able to use regular PVC fittings with it?? also, does the spaflex for instance attach through in inside of an elbow??

does it glue together with regular pvc cement?

Yes, it works perfectly fine with PVC fittings. You will have to measure pieces because you can't do a practice run with dry fittings. Once the solvent is applied, it will press in fully (nearly 1.5" deep) into each fitting.

I use the primer and the solvent by Oatley. The one I use for SpaFlex is honey-beige in color, and it should be marked as such on the can. It has a red label, where regular PVC cement has a gold label - at Home Depot at least.

I'll take new pictures in about a week or so, after I erradicate the cyano in the system. It just ruins the look of the tank currently.

Approximately how wide is the anemone? Great looking tank.

The main one is easily 8" x 8" during the lighting period, and the clone is about 5" x 4". They are eating up a lot of real estate in my nano. One's going to be extracted when I have the time to do so.

what type of gobies are those?

I don't know. I caught them during a collection trip near Port Aransas, and they seemed cute. I like them. However, they aren't exactly social, in that they chase each other around the tank and never hang out together.

Carrera76 - Thanks!
