Melting Ricordia

I need some help from the SLASH Brain Trust.

We left on Thursday for a weekend camping trip. Came home on Sunday and two of our favorite Ricordias were nearly melted away. All others looked fine. Tonight three more were nearly melted away. I have read lots of people online say this has happened to them, but no real reason for it happening.

Here are my parameters:

KH 8.54
CA 425
Mag 1350
Phos .25-.35
Nitrate 2-5
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Temp 81.5
PH 8.14
Salinity 1.025

Has this happened to any of you? Any Ideas?

I have one in my tank that reproduces a lot and the new ones disappear for no reason. This has been going on for a year now

I did see several references to this Brown Jelly or Slime bacteria. Sucked out everything I could find tonight. I have not lost the last two yet.

Thanks

OK when I last looked, but I was at that goofy Cardinals game last night so I haven't really seen them for over 24 hours. I'll check tonight and report back.
