2 x 75w VHO. uri super actinic and uri 10k.

i think ill go back to the coralife for the 10k bulb next time, but i love the super actinic... it realy makes the greens pop!

Morgan and I's 180gal. Lighting is with (3) 250 watt Phoenix, on HQI (M80) ballasts. The T5 actinics were turned off for the pic.

Camara is Olympus D-540, no flash.

Some nice lords and the chalice-can I c a closeup.pls

Dang Joe, very nice...

Racermike, when you took those pics, did you have different halide bulbs on each side of the tank? I kinda looked at the pic and my eyes were very confused. Looks nice, and I'm sure the difference is minimal in person, but I just wanted to ask.

I like what you've done with this tank-even though I'm not a close loop fan yours really helps the tank look. For that matter I'm not a fn of PH's either but in my case no choice so had to LOL
ANyways that tank is coming along really good, keep up the good work.

Thanks Gasman, it took me forever to finally get this thing together and I probably went thru a dozen different closed loop configurations. Im pretty much done with the plumbing except for one more thing I want to add later down the line and thats an oceans motions squirt on the return. I think thatll do wonders on making the flow in the tank more random

hey gasman, that has to be one of the coolest things i've seen. Just a little tank in a picture frame! Usually everyone does the huge 100+ gallon tanks in a frame. So cool!

i wondered how long we would have to wait for that pic.
i never get tired of seeing that one.

macaw, what makes that even cooler, if I remember correctly, is that that is the view from sitting on the toilet in the bathroom. The inside room that the picture frame is on is the restroom.
