Metal halide bulbs off EBAY ?????

Anyone out there using the metal halide bulbs from A to T lamps.I need to replace mine soon and was told about these.the 250w 14k is going for 24.99. Any help would be great.The manufacturers is either Plus or Reef Optics.

I have no experience with Reef Optics, but for Plus bulbs they are a POS. Looked like someone P**d in the tank.I read a thread a feew months back about e-bay bulbs that were good. You might do a search on that.

the reefoptics 20k 250watt are awsome but cant find the seller anymore

am trying the 20k from seller greatdel and will let you know how it is when I get it

I have a 20K from greatdel DE 250W here is a pic of it. a Hamilton 14K is on the left and Ebay 20K one on the right. color is almost the same. But i just worry about the par on these EBay bulbs. I have 0 coral growth. so think i will try the Phoenix 14K

This is Hamilton on left and a Ushio 10K on the left! I prefer the blue. but the coral groth i got with the Ushio 10K was awesome!
