Metal Halide to VHO

I am thinking about downgrading from a metal halide system to a VHO system. How do you guys compare the two. Could I still keep my clams under VHO and PC's rather than metal halide and PC's. Also if you think it is a possiblity, what would you recommend for retro fit for a 6' X 18" X 23" tank?

it realy all depends on how deep the tank is.

T5 HO would be better. I wouldnt keep clams under VHO.

If you have SPS they will lose alot of color if you go with VHO. I use VHO with MH HQI. I love the look of the VHO, but need the MH for good SPS health and color.
