3 Metal Halide Spider Fixtures with 2 Ballast which are commercial grade and 1 which is electronic . The bulbs are 2 XM 250w and 1 Radium 250w single sided mogul. The VHO 4 bulb fixture is 48" with ballast The fixtures are retro fit. The bulbs alone were over $300 dollars. The Metal Halide has less than 3 weeks of use for 5 hours a day the VHO which are 110w each were used for 3 months at 10 hours per day. These fixtures are like new and have no salt splash damage. These light fixtures would easily light up most tanks with no problem. They were used on a 72" tank. Rick 609-792-7365.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how much I should be asking for these fixtures, so they would be sold quickly. Any offers out there.

x2

I need new lights but the price of the MH retro fit that will need new bulbs, right or wrong the price is high.

yes, I know individually each item cost a lot of money but with new bulbs the retrofit kit would be like $500 to $600, thats a led system price

My guess is that people are more interested in LEDs fixtures now and days.

The bulbs for the MH are pretty new. I only use them at 4 hours a day for three weeks if that. The VHO bulbs were used for 8 hours a day for three months solid. You may contact me at 609-792-7365 with any questions.

To answer your question about pricing (otherwise I wouldn't offer an opinion) -

Used Metal Halide retrofits with electronic ballasts go for about $50 or $60 used. You have two retrofits that have industrial ballasts, which cuts the price a good bit. And used bulbs, no matter how new, don't add much. Most folks would just buy new bulbs, so don't give the bulbs any value. So you're looking at about $150 at best for the (3) MH retrofits.

And the VHO, that would be about $100. Folks are having trouble selling brand new VHO bulbs for $10 each. If you had an icecap 660 VHO ballast, it would be worth another $25.

If you priced it this way, $150 and $100, that'd be about right, and you may get a sale if you can find someone looking for MH kits or VHOs.

dppitone,
I appreciate your input, but as you can see in the photos the fixtures are like new not destroyed with salt creep. Like I constantly see posted up for sale. I am not asking for a lot of money for the amount of equipment that I am offering for sale. Take a look around at what is being offered and you will see how destroyed with salt splash/creep the fixtures are.

I have to agree with dppitone. If you were selling these 4 years ago you would probably get that price. Right now a lot of folks are selling off their mh and going to led's. So it becomes an issue of supply and demand, that means there are several mh's for sale and few people are buying. The bottom line is like anything else if it's priced right it will sell, if not it won't.

Okay, This is a super deal $300.00 or best offer.
I paid $65. each for the MH bulbs + shipping
25. each for the VHO bulbs + shipping
