Exactly my point, I would never trust it. Might as well just dump copper into a cup and try sealing it shut. lol

I think we would all feel alot better about this subject if we knew exactly what the OP was trying to seal. I could see smaller objects being sealed, but big ones... not so much. So about the double post. Just thought this might help out xD
Only metal I know of is stainless steel and its a specific grade I believe.
Exactly. I understand you think it might look cool, but it's a complete roll of the dice, even if you coat. It maybe you didn't use the right stuff? Maybe you missed a spot? Maybe the coating is too thin in one spot? Maybe? If you roll craps, boom, you loose all your chips and we're likely talking bye-bye reef.I wouldnt do it.
