metallic green orange bubble tip

One of my mates selling his metallic green orange bubble tip anemone and I want to buy it. But I don't know my tank lights are sufficient to keep it. :worried:

it's a 72"Ã—24"Ã—30" tank and only got 1 × Giesemann powerchrome aquablue 80w and 1 × Giesemann powerchrome actinic plus 80w.

Is it going to be enough lights for the anemone?

No, that isn't enough. You will need 6-8 of those size bulbs if you are using half white and half actinics, or at least 4 if they are all white IMO. And that would be minimum lighting for an anemone.

Ahh that sucks.. :hmm5: I really want to buy that anemone.. What about if I install another 80w aquablue and 80w actinic plus ?

Well, since noone else has replied, I guess I will repeat what I said above. It would require 4 WHITE bulbs IMO. Aquablue is a good 2nd best, but you're still only using 2 if you do that.

Anemones need a lot of white light to stay healthy and keep their color. If there isn't enough light, they shrink and fade, and after several months just die. I do not think it will last over a year with that lighting.
