I have 3 icecap mh's, right now I am running 3 10k ushio's. Some of my sofities and zoa's don't like that much light so I was thinking of doing 1 10k xm (on one side of the tank or the middle, for the sps and clams), 1 14k hamilton for the lps, and 1 20 k radium for the softies.

will this look too wierd? These look like good bulbs on icecap ballasts anyone use them?

As long as they are the proper wattage for the ballast go ahead and give it a try. There's no rule that says you can't mix and match lighting.
Just like placing certain corals at specific levels in the tank due to lighting requirements all you're doing is basically adjusting the light instaed of the coral.

Jag, you will not like it, your tank will look OFF since different part of the ank is different. I think the best compromise is to use the Radium or the XM 20k through out, both softies and sps will love these lights and will color up nice
