MH lighting advice needed

I upgraded my 46 bowfront w/powercompacts to a 75 standard tank. I had been succesfully keeping softies and LPS but wanted to start keeping SPS. I bought a current orbit which comes standard with 2 150 watt 10k DE MH and 2 130 watt PC actinics.
It has been set up since Dec and have slowly adding SPS frags. All is well except I decided i would like a little more blue in the tank to bring out the colors better in the SPS. I ordered 2 150watt 14k phoenix bulbs as they had some great reviews.
I switched out the 10k for the 14 k last night and am dissapointed on how much bluer it is. I do not think it looks as good as before. My question is are there any options, could I leave the 14k and change the 130pc actinics to a half daylight half actinic or should I just go back to the original setup. Growth was good with the 10K I just wanted a little more blue. Any advice thoughts would be appreciated.

pheonix 14k is the bluest bulb on the market IMO, you would be better served by an ushio 20k or 14k.

Before you do anything, I would wait a week or two -- just to make sure the bulb is fully burned in.

If you don't want to replace the MH bulbs, what you can do is switch one of your PC actinic bulbs for a 50/50 bulb. I did that with my 58 (( 2*250 20K XMs + 2*96 PC )), and was shocked at the difference.
