MH lighting decisions, time to change bulbs

I'm currently running 2 250w Radiums in lumenbright reflectors on 250/400 select-a-watt ballasts. In between I have a pendant with a 250w DE 14k Pheonix on an hqi ballast because the two Radiums don't quite cover all 60" evenly (My tank is 60x24x25). I'm considering removing the Pheonix and bumping both Radiums up to 400w bulbs. Anyone one know how the 400's run on the galaxy/lumatek select-a-watt ballasts? Any opinions? Is this too much light over a 25" tall tank? What would you do?

You might as well be asking what the best food is :) . I have 2x400 watt XM 20,000k's over my 24" tall aquarium. It's the only bulb I like better than the Radiums. I am running them on Lumatek ballasts, which are pretty much the same as the Galaxy's. Check out their spectral plots on Sanjay's site - they are impressive for 20k's.

The 400 watt-ers will heat up the tank though, so a beefy cooling fan, at a minimum, will be in line.

I have the set up you are thinking about. The Radiums work great on this ballast and you get pretty good growth and colors out of it. My tank is 29.5" tall.
