MH Lighting for Anemones - What Kelvin?

Those of you who run MH over your anemone dominated tanks, what temperature bulbs are you using?

I currently have 4 X DE 250W Phoenix 14K's with 8 X 39W T5's for supplemental lighting (can't remember just what they are) and moon LED's over my 220 gallon, anemone/clam/fish tank (6' X 2' X 30").

I am overdue for a complete bulb change and would like to know what others are running. Any suggestions as to MH temp and T5 bulb combinations would be greatly appreciated.

Over my 58 (( S. Haddoni )) I have 2*250 SE Radiums -- 20,000K -- plus 2*96 PC dual actinic.

Over my 75 (( S. Haddoni )) I have 2*250 DE XM 20,000K plus 4*54 T5 (( 1 KZ Fiji purple, 1 blue+, and 2 actinic.

These anemones are thriving under three 250W 14000K Phoenix bulbs. The bulbs are about 3 months old. I don't think they really care what the temperture of the bulb is, they will thrive under any type of MH and even some T-5's.

Looks like there are at least some people using 20K bulbs. That has been my principle decision. Whether to move from the Phoenix 14k to a 20K. And if so, what T5's to use with them. With the four MH's I am running over a six foot tank, I'm not worried about the decreased intensity of a 20K and thus am simply looking for the best color rendition.

My nems are a mix of RBTA's and GBTA's with one purple LTA in the sand, dead center in my tank. All are indeed doing very well and have been for two years so I'm not looking to "mess with success" so to speak. Just wondering if there is anything I can do to enhance colors even more with a different MH and T5 bulb combination

So keep the suggestions coming!

What T5 bulbs are you using? When I put in the KZ Fiji purple bulb any red S. Haddoni just popped with color.

I think they are some crap bulbs I picked up from a guy breaking down his tank. OEM supplied Current USA T5's, 420nm/460nm mix.

I know, I know it is long time for a change.
