Can anyone tell me the major differences between these 2 fixtures besides the price? Would these be good for a 72x18x29 tank? Or should I just make my own using retros? Thanks!

The one that is Cheaper does not include Ballast or Bulbs.

thanks. Think this would make a good setup or should I just put together my own mh/t5 combo using icecap ballasts?

I have an older 2x150w HQI + 2x54w T5. The quality is superb. It is very heavy and durable. Even the switches have a rubber guard to keep water out.

Personally I don't like the look of a 12"+ box on top of my tank so a pre-made fixture was the only way I wanted to go.
