Midas Blenny behavior

Who is keeping a midas blenny with a clam? I only ask because I had an algae (lawnmower) blenny that nipped at the mantle of my crocea pretty badly. I know he wasn't trying to eat the clam, but he kept it retracted all the time. Is the risk of clam nipping present with the carnivorous midas blenny?

I am, no problems here either. 2 different blennies, 3 different clams.

Midas blennies? My thinking is that the behavior of the midas blenny should be completely different than that of the algae blennies, but I don't have experience with them. It seems counter intuitive that the algae blenny would nip at clams, but that has been my experience.

I know this is a fairly popular fish, has anyone ever heard of the same problems with midas blennies and clams that can happen with the algae eating blennies?
