midas blenny has a black butt

my midas blenny's but has turned black! ew! for those who don't know, it is normally blue. Some one who saw it thought it might be constipated. He suggested feeding algae based foods until he passed it. He is still pooping, everytime i feed the tank he goes so i am not sure what the deal is. Its been black for about 2 weeks now, he seems to be acting fine but I am beginning to worry. Any ideas or suggestions?

Could be just stress. That fish changes color to avoid predators. Other than that I'm not sure. if you post a pic especially on New to the hobby you'll get more feedback.

mine changes colors when fish swim around its "rock"..although your situation sounds a bit more serious..its could have something to do with that-drew

I have had one that is blue, and one that turned black. Not explanation though that I know of.
